Peer School – Online Workshop
Our life experiences can have an impact on the support we want and need, and that’s why when we’re supporting others it’s important to meet people where they are at, with no assumptions and in a trauma-informed way.
In this online workshop you’ll spend time building foundational knowledge in what makes us who we are, trauma, and what trauma-informed support looks and feels like. You will also practice skills to better understand and implement trauma-informed support in your conversations with others.
Whether you’re hoping to gain a general understanding of trauma and trauma-informed support, or supporting someone else, this workshop will support you in being more knowledgeable, confident, and empathetic.
Building Trauma-Informed Support will be held as a Zoom meeting with interactive discussions, breakout rooms, and skill-building.
This workshop is a 2-part workshop. Registering provides access to both sessions.
This online workshop is part of our Peer School, which supports you in supporting others. So this workshop is open to anyone wanting to develop trauma-informed support skills, or is supporting another person.
